Pasta for dinner
I bought orecchette and tore them in half, mixed with a plain tomato sauce and butter.
I would call this a success, but a messy one.
Scenes from a snow day
Tuesday was day two of no school, so Jesse was pretty bored.
He was put down for naps sooner than normal.
He played a bit with his new activity table, although the video doesn’t capture 1. How well he was standing to play. 2. How absolutely filthy he was from fighting with me over some vegetable purée.
The table was one of the toys I got Saturday at the festival and rummage sale. For the fun he’s having, that was $5 well spent.
Buh-bye!
So, Jesse said “bye-bye” and waved this morning for the first time as I was leaving daycare. When waving, he holds his hand out like a waiter carrying a tray of dishes, flat and tilted slightly toward him.
I don’t have video, because my phone was in the car. But it was a little like this: “Buh-bye on SNL”

We flew to San Diego today and immediately dove into the fun, with Grandpa feeding Jesse lunch and Grandma pushing in the swing at the playground.
