Sugar-free Halloween

Jesse dressed up in his bear bunting for the costume parade at school.

We all went trick-or-treating in the strip mall. The best candy came from PNC bank.

Dan pushed Jesse because the four-baby buggy was full. Most parents just carried their pumpkins, vampires and monkeys.

Jesse has no teeth, so anything that goes in the treat bag is mine.

Dan got to meet babies and teachers who are usually gone by the end of the day.

After the parade, the “costume” came off — it got a little too toasty.

School pictures!

cm3When I dropped off Jesse this morning, I saw the sign saying the photography company would be at day care Thursday and Friday afternoon, before I could get there.

cm1I checked, and the director said she could show me my packet in advance.

cm2Of course I bought them all. Including the CD with the three photos (each in color, black and white and sepia).

The class picture wasn’t included on the CD, only as a print — which is fine, because apparently Jesse had better things to do than look at the camera. His four teachers are, from left, Miss Linnette, Miss Lili, Miss J.J. and Miss Sara.

(By the way, Jesse’s friend Kai-who-cries is second from the right, in plaid. Jesse’s probably telling him to remember to smile.)
