We went to school with Jesse for the annual Halloween parade. His friend Amir was Frankenstein.

Halloween parade
Natalie came over to join us for the neighborhood Halloween party, and her mommy has the same taste in secondhand costumes, because the two of them got to be lion cubs together.
Jesse had uncut apple juice, sat in a fire truck and ran around in circles.
The corn’s got his tongue
Before the Halloween parade, Jesse enjoyed some corn at lunch.
18-month checkup
Jesse is still a pinhead. At 18 inches, his head circumference puts him in the bottom 10 percent.
He’s also shorter: 33% height, 31.75 inches.
Now, THAT’S dinner!
After going to Tot Shabbat tonight, we hit Baja Fresh, where Jesse enjoyed many, many tortilla chips.

Having friends over
Natalie brought her family over for dinner, which was basically an excuse for six adults to cater to the whims of two tiny dictators. However, they are cute.
Swimming in the winter?
I dug out a fleece snowsuit and brought it to swim class, where I zipped up Jesse after his post-lesson shower. 
I assume he was yelling with delight.

Another weekend, another festival
The Fall for Fairfax festival had a free petting zoo, where Jesse saw a “tuh-tull,” and a little train ride that seemed to go over better than our recent trip to Burke Lake Park’s ride.
