We enjoyed Mexican for our first night in Las Vegas. Jesse ate most of Mommy’s black beans and Grandma’s chicken quesadilla between smiles for the camera.

We took a taxi to the airport for our flight, and the car seat worked beautifully. Here Jesse is in the taxi:

The night before our trip to Vegas, I got takeout. Jesse enjoyed Silver Diner’s mashed potatoes. Things started out well with a spoon, but quickly devolved.

At dinner, Jesse was shaking his groove thang to the hits of the ’90s.

Jesse was fine after his 12-month vaccinations, so we took him to eat at Noodles & Co, since Passover was ending and Mommy wanted complex carbohydrates.

Jesse is perfectly average! He’s in the 53rd percentile for both height and weight, at 21 lbs, 9.2 oz. and 30 inches. His head circumference is only 9 percent, at 17.5 inches, but there’s nothing to worry about.

Jesse is tired of matzah.

Jesse got a multi-stage tricycle from Grandma Sue. 

Jesse throws a fit because he has to say goodbye. “You mean everyone’s leaving???”

Jesse had a fine time playing with a set of blocks his aunt and uncle sent; they’ll get to see him at the end of the month.
