On my birthday, I took Jesse to Burke Lake Park for a ride on the train.
Jesse was excited for his first train ride.
We waited for the train to arrive at the station after buying our tickets.
The train arrived and the whistle sounded.
Once we took our seats, Jesse spent some time looking around.
When we started moving, he continued to watch the scenery go by.
Jesse ate after coming home from school, then promptly fell asleep.
One sock fell off.
He had a blanket wrapped around his head like a Jawa.
Jesse enjoys his rattle with dinner.
Jesse may have gone to bed long before the main event, but a costume change after dinner saw him in his fight freak gear.
His friend Natalie also missed seeing Canelo lose.

Jesse has started “razzing,” making a raspberry sound with his tongue. I decided to show him how it’s done.
Sure, we love Daddy. But with him away, we get to have Indian food!
Dan’s off to Las Vegas for a fight, so Jesse and Mommy will have some quality time together.
But we’ll miss Daddy a lot!
Jesse has no choice in the matter. Despite living in northern VA, it’s predetermined that he’s a fan of the G-Men.
Mommy is only interested in dressing him in cute outfits, not watching the game.
Here’s Jesse in a new outfit from Aunt Katy, ready for this afternoon’s tot service and tashlich ritual. He’s too young to toss breadcrumbs, though.
