Tummy time with the mirror
Jesse, like most babies, enjoys looking in mirrors. It makes tummy time that much more fun when there’s something to watch.
Jesse and his mobile
Setting up Jesse’s mobile took the better part of six weeks, after a lengthy attempt to return it to Amazon as defective. Thanks to Kate at Trend Lab, though, we were able to acquire a new music box. Now the kid can’t get enough.
Jesse loves Craigslist
After picking up a trunkload of baby items yesterday, I discovered this duck outfit that is Jesse’s current size.

Jesse’s got a big evening ahead, starting with Hot Shabbat at TRS, and then Grandma Michell’s arrival. So he’s grabbing a nap in advance.

Here’s Jesse (after sleeping eight and a half uninterrupted hours) squeezing in some quality arm waving and cooing before his busy day.
Downward-facing baby
Jesse and I went to Mommy & Me yoga class today in Fairfax. I took prenatal with Vicki at Sun & Moon starting in October, so Jesse actually has spent a lot of time at the studio.
Jesse enjoyed some tummy time, and got some baby massages.
Here he is napping while I did a standing pose.
Then we adjourned for some iced coffee.
Road warrior
Jesse and I took a nice walk around the neighborhood this morning in his new stroller.
Walks mean quality naps …
… which continue even after we get home.
